After the sausage sizzle at Bunnings, the following day some of the Club Members enjoyed a day at the field. the weather was great and a few laughs along the way topped off a great weekend for BMMAA

This is what happy modellers do..!! go flying of course. He are just a few photos telling their own story. What can i say, Good friends, having a chat at a great Club..... Sounds good to me and many others as well. Come along and enjoy what you have, but remember, it is up to us to look after what we have and when the call goes out for support, spare an hour or two to make a Club that little bit better... Happy Flying. Ed

As we all know, the life blood on any Club is its Members and the input of funds. Our Club is not a large Club, but what we lack in size we make up with camaraderie, friendship and plenty of fun with a good dose of laughter. Running a couple of events provides a few extra beans in the cupboard to spend on things we need, but event though these events are good to have, it takes a few events to build up the kitty. It also takes a lot of effort to bring it all together.

To try something different, our lustrous Secretary, Garry Thiele put up the idea of doing a sausage sizzle at Bunnings in Melton. Everyone at the meeting thought this was a great idea so the wheels went into motion to make it happen. Before we know it, we had a date.

On the 11th of January, BMMAA had a go at selling sausages at Bunning;s  Melton with the fantastic help of Club Members with additional help from Melony (Daniel's lovely wife, but not a Member). So by the end of the day over 40 kg of sausages were sold along with 40 loaves of bread with a number of drinks.

It was a great day and BMMAA with some well earned funds going to the Club.  So was it successful, you bet it was and Committee must thanks all of those Club/Non Club Members for donating their time and hard work. Another great job by
BMMAA.
